sigh ... why did murphy have to come up with his law? ...

we should have known huh? ..

i spent 6-8 hrs making 100+ mini belgian waffles ...

iris brought crushed almond, a mixture of corn flakes (frosted, honey glazed & original) and chocolate sauce ...

oliver & sophraine ordered 2 5kg tubs of icecream ...

everything was ready and we were all looking forward to it ...



i proceeded to the kitchen to heat the waffles in the oven right after the sermon ended, before the service ended ...

then ... came the call ... the icecream delivery vehicle was involved in an accident and our icecream was melting ... somewhere on some expressway ...


goodbye icecream waffles ... T.T .... wanted to drive out to buy icecream from somewhere else ... but ... sigh ... by the time i managed to get the cars moved, so i can drive out ... well ... lunch would be over ... so we had to contend with waffles ... with toppings =( no icecream ..

depressing ... so depressing that i didn't even take any pics of the heap of waffles ...

thanks for bringing the toppings and cheering me up though ... i think it'd have been quite different if u weren't there iris =/ i wonder what church would feel like when u've gone overseas for your masters/phd in music ... we'll miss you ...
